British born Gwen Roberts is a photorealistic artist now living and working in Australia

She had a talent for drawing at a young age and a passion for visual arts

Gwen implements an uncommon technique known as sanding in the preparation and rendering of a drawing

The paper is burnished with fine sandpaper and the medium is manipulated with small pieces of the sandpaper into meticulous detail

In 2013 Gwen studied fine art at Winchester School of Art in the United Kingdom before moving to Spain and finally Australia

La artista Gwen Roberts, nacida en Gran Bretaña, es ahora una artista fotorrealista que vive y trabaja en Australia.

Desde temprana edad, mostró un talento para el dibujo y una pasión por las artes visuales.

Gwen utiliza una técnica poco común conocida como "sanding" en la preparación y representación de sus obras.

El papel se pule con papel de lija fino, y el medio se manipula con pequeños trozos de papel de lija para lograr detalles meticulosos.

En 2013, Gwen estudió bellas artes en la Winchester School of Art en el Reino Unido antes de mudarse a España y finalmente a Australia.
