From the Conservatory to Minimalist Composition

Music has always been the language that touched Laura Olivares' heart since childhood. Although she dedicated herself to piano performance during her conservatory training, Laura intuitively discovered her passion for composition. She found in creating melodies the possibility to reflect her inner world, becoming a vehicle to transform emotions, feelings, and experiences into music.

Therefore, she started composing small pieces that had remained hidden until now. While her classical training left its mark, Laura now identifies with a minimalist style that stands out for its emotiveness and simplicity

On this occasion, Laura has created an original composition inspired by three sources: Esther Navarro's exhibition "Tiempo de Oro Detenido," the RECOLETO art space in Jávea, and the magic of sunsets. This piece, also titled "Tiempo de Oro Detenido," will be exclusively premiered at the Recoleto space, where Laura's visual art and music will merge to captivate the senses of those who listen
